When Joel and Marilyn began their work in Thailand, they never dreamed they would need a permanent house and have rented now for 30 years. Even though they have American citizenship, neither they nor their children plan to leave Asia. They would like to build a home where they could grow old AND continue to do mission work. There is room on the Lahu Bible School property where they could build a house. Their hope is for a building that would be their home AND also headquarters for their mission work along with a studio where Marilyn could continue recording her music. Joel and Marilyn refuse to take money donated to the evangelistic work for their personal use and are therefore hoping to raise separate funds for the building. Please consider donating to a home/headquarters fund for them. Joel thinks construction would probably cost about $60,000. Furnishing the building, especially the office and music studio parts, would be another $30,000. Any donations towards this fund should be be made out to North Burma Christian Mission with a notation in the memo stating it's for Home Construction.
